After many weeks of practicing and perfecting, 5 of our TX year 6 students took to the stage last night for the BIS Young Musician of the Year 2014 Grand Final. Nicholas Cao, Eugene Chang, Anthony Phan, Rose Duong and Jasmine Khuu along with seven other children from AP1 played a beautiful piece of music to the audience and three judges.
After listening to everyone’s fabulous renditions, the judges decided on placing Julia Suh from AP1 with the 1st place title, Regine Torres from AP1 with 2nd place, and our very own Rose Duong from TX with 3rd place.
Many congratulations to all the finalists, you did yourselves and your school very proud. I am already looking forward to the BIS Young Musician of the Year 2015!
