Year 4 have been learning about pentatonic music, which means any music using only the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th note of a scale. We learned that the melody of the song 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot' uses only pentatonic notes. After learning to sing the song, we added ukulele chords and performed it beautifully. It is the first song we have learned on ukuleles in year 4 so it was definitely worth recording!
