As well as sharing my old playlists I'm gonna showcase new alternative Christmas tunes as they are released. First up this year Amazon have announced 'All is Bright'. They are being quite tight lipped about what will be on this Christmas playlist but they've started by announcing Beth Orton singing the Joni Mitchell classic River.She's played it before on BBC radio (see the video below) but now she's recorded it in a studio and you can hear that version over at our friends at Stereogum.
